Quote: "We are struggling with a certain challenge right now – roughly US$4 billion that we need at present. We need it very much. So far, we have not closed this deficit."
Details: According to Zelenskyy, the Ministry of Finance understands where approximately US$3 billion of the required amount can be sourced, but the corresponding agreements are not yet in place.
The president noted that Ukraine has already found a mechanism to cover the majority of the previously identified deficit through bilateral support and agreements with the European Union.
Zelenskyy added that there is political will to provide Ukraine with a US$12 billion loan next year.
