Ukrainian hockey player on youth national team injured in Russian attack on Kyiv

Nazar Stepaniuk, a defenceman for Dnipro hockey club and Ukraine's U18 youth national team, has been injured in Russian attacks on Kyiv.

Details: Russian forces attacked Kyiv again on 25 September, killing seven people and injuring at least 46. Stepaniuk was among those injured. He was taken to hospital and is currently undergoing surgery.

Stepaniuk plays for Dnipro hockey club and Ukraine's U18 youth national team. Last season, he played for Kyiv-based team Sokil.
