US President Donald Trump hopes Ukraine and Russia will reach a deal before winter.

Details: Trump was asked whether he had spoken to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about Patriot missiles, but he responded by talking about a possible deal with Russian ruler Vladimir Putin.

Quote: "I spoke to him [Zelenskyy – ed.] a lot, and he's going along, and Putin's going along.

Someday, hopefully in the not-too-distant future, maybe before the heavy winter, they'll make a deal."

Details: Trump also said he wants Zelenskyy to reach a deal with Russia.

"You know what I want him [Zelenskyy – ed.] to do? Make a deal. I want him to settle with Putin, and I want Putin to settle with him," he noted.
