Russian forces attack Kyiv: one injured and high-rise building damaged – photos, video

One person has been injured in a Russian UAV attack on the city of Kyiv on the night of 24-25 September when debris fell onto a 25-storey residential building in the Solomianskyi district.

Update: Kyiv City Military Administration reported that debris had fallen onto a 25-storey residential building in the Solomianskyi district. (As of 07:26, the State Emergency Service had not mentioned any damage to the residential building.)

Russian forces damaged a non-residential building in the Podilskyi district. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv later added that a six-storey non-residential building had caught fire on the ground and first floors.

One person was also injured in the attack and is receiving the necessary medical treatment.

Details: Klitschko wrote that, according to early reports, the high-rise building had been hit at the level of the third floor.

A UAV fell at one location in the Solomianskyi district, starting a fire in an open area near a non-residential building. At another location, the roof of a non-residential building caught fire and was destroyed.

As of 07:32, all fires at the affected locations had been extinguished.

Background: At 04:27, an air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv due to a missile threat. A drone threat had already been announced in the capital earlier. The all-clear was given in Kyiv at 05:14.
