Details: Emergency repair work has already begun where the security situation permits. Power engineers are repairing damaged equipment and re-establishing electricity supply to consumers.

The company projects no electricity consumption restrictions on 5 October. Meanwhile, new Russian attacks could alter the situation in specific regions, so consumers are advised to monitor announcements from their local distribution network operators.

The company recommends shifting the use of high-power electrical appliances to the hours between 10:00 and 16:00, when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently.

In the evening, from 17:00 to 22:00, citizens are asked not to turn on several high-power appliances simultaneously to reduce the load on equipment damaged by attacks.

Background: Since the evening of 4 October, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 205 drones of various types. Air defence forces managed to down 172 UAVs, although hits were recorded.
