Russia loses 1,660 soldiers and more than 600 pieces of military equipment over past day

Russia has lost 1,660 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,519,650.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 21 September 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 25,365 (+4) armoured combat vehicles
• 50,142 (+75) artillery systems
• 2,149 (+3) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,662 (+3) air defence systems
• 442 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 356 (+0) helicopters
• 2,712 (+17) ground robotic systems
• 527,693 (+1,728) operational-tactical UAVs
• 5,111 (+0) cruise missiles
• 35 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 151,861 (+516) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,729 (+13) special vehicles and other equipment
