Russia attacks Ukraine with 173 drones overnight: air defence downs 134

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 173 drones of various types, some of which were jet-powered, on the night of 25-26 September. The air defence forces have destroyed 134 aerial assets.

Quote: "On the night of 25-26 September (from 18:00 on 25 September), the enemy attacked with 173 Shahed (more than 50 jet-powered) and Gerbera attack drones and Parodiya decoy UAVs launched from the Russian cities of Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Shatalovo as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea."

Details: As of 07:30, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 134 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones.

Hits by aerial assets have been recorded at 19 locations and downed aerial assets (debris) fell at eight locations.
