Kyiv’s Pivdennyi Bridge hit by Russian drone for third time in one day

Kyiv's Pivdennyi (South) Bridge has been struck by a Russian drone for the third time in one day.

Quote from Klitschko: "A strike has hit the road surface on the Pivdennyi Bridge. Emergency services are on their way to the scene."

Update: Klitschko later added that, as early reports indicated, the drone strike damaged a bridge support, a crash barrier, the road surface and a protective concrete barrier for the metro.

Metro workers are cutting power to the metro tracks. Metro services and surface public transport across the bridge have been suspended.

Background: This morning, two drones struck near the support structure of the Pivdennyi Bridge. An initial inspection found no critical damage, and surface public transport services across the bridge resumed.
