IRAN-LINKED HACKERS CLAIM BREACH OF FBI DIRECTOR’S PERSONAL EMAIL
Iran-linked hackers are claiming they accessed the personal Gmail account of FBI Director Kash Patel, publishing photos and documents online. A Justice Department official told Reuters the account was compromised and that some of the material appears authentic, though Reuters noted it could not independently verify the full set of emails.
The group, calling itself Handala, is believed by Western researchers to be tied to Iranian cyber operations
